Description -

As an HP Industrial Sales Associate, you will play a key supporting role in driving growth and building relationships within HP’s Industrial business. In this role, you will work closely with experienced sales professionals to understand client needs and help deliver HP’s industry-leading industrial solutions—including Indigo and PageWide digital printing technologies, as well as advanced software solutions. Your focus will be on selling HP’s innovative products, and supporting current accounts and fostering opportunities within new accounts in industries such as commercial printing, manufacturing, and packaging.

The position supports lead generation, assists in creating proposals and quotes, and collaborates with internal teams to deliver effective solutions. They will also contribute to sales forecasting; help address client questions and develop their consultative selling skills through ongoing training and mentorship.


Responsibilities

  • Develops a foundational understanding of the organization’s products, services, and industry to effectively communicate value to potential clients.
  • Supports relationship-building efforts with key stakeholders within client organizations, including decision-makers, to ensure satisfaction and long-term engagement.
  • Assists in designing customized solutions by gathering client needs and collaborating with product experts and specialists.
  • Helps prepare proposals and quotes for clients, including pricing and contract details, under the guidance of senior team members and Financial Consultants..
  • Works with internal teams and external partners to support sales opportunities and deliver value to clients.
  • Participates in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to learn more about the market and build professional connections.
  • Captures and tracks leads, ensuring proper assignment and follow-up to support the sales pipeline.
  • Serves as a supporting contact for client inquiries, working with senior team members and customer support to address concerns and find solutions.
  • Engages in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends, sales techniques, and product knowledge.


Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 3-5 years of work experience, preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, account management, or a related field.

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $161,600 to $234,350 annually, with a 50/50 (salary/incentive) mix. There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
