AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join our Atlanta, GA office. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Atlanta, GA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs different project controls tasks under the direction of the Project Controls Manager or Project Director.
  • Reviews of contractor and vendor payment applications and invoices for accuracy and proper cost allocation.
  • Monitors the project schedule and provides information to the Project Controls team for updating the schedule.
  • Performs site walks to record project progress and uses the information to update project progress tracking tools, including utilization of the 3D model to prepare visuals.
  • Works with other stakeholders to collect cost and schedule information needed to create project progress reports.
  • Analyzes cost and schedule data and prepares detailed reports for different types of stakeholders. When needed enters data into different project controls systems.
  • Supports the Document Control processes by uploading project controls related information into the Project Management Information System.
  • Performs quantity takeoffs and requests pricing from suppliers to support the cost estimating process.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • EXPERIENCE: 0-2 Years of professional experience in a related technical field.
  • EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar field.
  • SPECIAL SKILLS:
    •  Ability to travel to job sites across the Southeast.
    • Working knowledge of the following applications is desired: ACC, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), BIM360, Assemble, Revit, Navisworks and Primavera P6.
    • Experience with ERP software such as Oracle, SAP, Deltek Cost Point, etc.
    • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Share Point.
    • Proficiency with Power BI is desired but not required
  • PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS: Certification from AACE is desired but not required.
