Role Specific:

As a member of the International Talent Expansion team, you will work with senior leaders across the company to expand our presence in both new and existing international locations as part of our talent strategy. 

Specific responsibilities related to project management include:

  • Demonstrates a proven track record of excellent program management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment

  • Driving all phases of project management to include feasibility, definition, planning, prioritization, implementation and close out of projects

  • Effectively applying project management methodology and standards, and ensuring project documents are complete and up to date

  • Displaying cross-functional teamwork, communication, negotiation and leading across all levels

  • Partnering cross-functionally with key stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery

  • Working with cross functional teams and influencing others to work toward common goal, regardless of resource and time constraints

  • Creating transparency and fostering relationships to adjacent teams 

General Responsibilities:

  • Building and leading a program delivery team to support complex, integrated programs, including but not limited to: 

    • Creating and implementing standards for program delivery 

    • Engaging on large scale resource allocation efforts and global labor strategy

  • Partnering cross-functionally with program stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought leadership while effectively driving project delivery

  • High degree of organizational skills and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously; prioritizes based on impact and makes difficult tradeoffs to meet deadlines

  • Effective communicator – ability to create clarity amongst diverse groups from team members to stakeholders

  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills – ability to establish metrics and utilize data to measure operational efficiency, team health, and partnership effectiveness

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 

  • At least 7 years of Process, Project, or Program Management experience

  • At least 5 years of People Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters in Business Administration

  • 10+ years of Process, Project, or Program Management experience

  • 7+ years of People Management experience

  • 7+ years of strategy development

  • 7+ years leading technology initiatives

  • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
