Senior Analyst Relations Manager
We are looking for a Senior Analyst Relations Manager to join the Integrated Communications team within our Marketing division. The Senior Analyst Relations Manager will be a critical hire, acting as athenahealth’s primary liaison to industry analyst groups across the healthcare and technology industries. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Integrated Communications, this role will be responsible for ensuring these key audience understand the breadth and depth of athenahealth’s product and service offerings. Working closely with product, customer success, and technology-enabled services leadership, the Senior Analyst Relations Manager will lead information gathering, content generation, and day-to-day relationship building with a range of internal and external stakeholders critical to athenahealth’s business. The individual in this role will need to be highly organized and detail oriented while maintaining the ability to tell a consistent story about where athenahealth’s innovation and product roadmap are meeting – and leading – the needs of the market. The Senior Analyst Relations Manager will coordinate weekly interactions, subject matter-specific briefings, and will organize multiple yearly gatherings of industry analysts to interact with company senior leaders.
Job Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for industry analysts from multiple healthcare- and technology-focused analyst firms as they work to understand athenahealth’s innovation and value creation for healthcare organizations.
Keep a tightly organized cadence of proactive communication regarding athenahealth news, product releases and launches, to the analyst community.
Facilitate the introduction and surveying of practices on the athenahealth network to ensure analyst firms, including KLAS, have an understanding of athenahealth’s leadership in the healthcare space.
Work closely with product, customer success, technology-enabled services, and external communications teams to understand the product and services roadmaps, upcoming releases, and key innovation initiatives.
Translate that knowledge to match key trends across healthcare analyst community, and drive proactive understanding of athenahealth as an industry leader.
Develop quarterly and yearly calendars of both individual analyst firm briefings, as well as both online and in-person gatherings of relevant analysts to tell the athenahealth story.
Ensure executives are prepared to discuss issues relevant to the analyst community, highlighting how athenahealth products fit into industry trends and differentiate from competitors.
Typical Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in healthcare, policy, or related field preferred
5+ years of prior experience working with healthcare industry analysts
Experience working closely with product teams and executive leadership
Understanding of healthcare industry trends, public policy, and innovation landscape
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate technical product concepts in terms relevant to an analyst audience.
Ability to translate technical and service improvements into value proposition for provider groups
Extremely organized, with an understanding of how to craft a calendar that includes relevant details while maintaining an executive-level view.
Experience upleveling complex concepts so they can be expressed compellingly to audiences with varying degrees of expertise in healthcare
Capacity to manage multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, and create workback plans with multiple checkpoints to ensure executive buy-in and staying on schedule.
