About the Role:

The Maintenance position at Quincy Cheese is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. This role involves performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and enhance productivity. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing effective solutions to maintain optimal performance. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical certification in maintenance or a related discipline.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in machinery.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with production staff to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance tasks.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include strong problem-solving abilities, which are essential for diagnosing and addressing equipment malfunctions effectively.
