We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Team Lead to manage and coordinate our maintenance team located within our Scranton, Financial Center Branch Offices. This individual will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations, including scheduling, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring the smooth functioning of all maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, leadership experience, and a dedication to maintaining a safe and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, coordinate, and supervise a team of maintenance workers. Manage schedules, assign tasks, and ensure effective use of resources to meet the department’s needs.
- Daily Operations: Monitor and report on daily maintenance activities, ensuring the proper operation of equipment and environmental systems.
- Work Order Management: Oversee the tracking, assignment, and timely completion of maintenance work orders in alignment with established KPIs.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with the Facilities Manager, team members, and other departments. Keep all parties informed of progress and any issues that arise.
- Life Safety Systems: Ensure that all Life Safety and backup systems are fully functional and meet safety standards.
- Property Maintenance: Regularly inspect the property to ensure it is safe, clean, and presentable. Address any issues proactively, including roof leaks, lighting, HVAC, and building appearance.
- Project Coordination: Participate in and coordinate Facilities Department projects, ensuring efficiency and minimal disruption to operations.
- Customer Experience: Provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that all areas are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Fleet Management: Oversee the maintenance and operational readiness of department vehicles.
- Compliance & Policies: Ensure adherence to organizational policies, safety regulations, and compliance requirements. Enforce a safe and respectful workplace for all employees.
- Training & Development: Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance leadership and technical skills.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma required; Trade School or Apprenticeship preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in maintenance roles with progressively responsible experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, CMMS, and Building Automation Systems; excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Licenses: Valid driver’s license required.
