One of our main priorities is safeguarding members' sensitive information. Everyone, from the CEO to each engineer, views security as a personal responsibility. Reporting to the Head of Global Physical Security, the Global Physical Security Operations Center Operator uses best practices to identify, analyze, and support all incidents that may or may not threaten our business, brand, or employees. We are looking for someone who is a problem solver, possesses critical thinking skills, and is detail-oriented. In this position, you will use best practices to communicate information surrounding incidents to leadership as appropriate. The GSOC Operator will monitor cameras and alarms, dispatch associated calls via telephone and radio, operate access control technology, and provide general assistance to both employees and guests. The GSOC operator supports headquarters and field teams in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from crisis and non-crisis incidents.

What you'll do:

  • Monitor all security, communications, and fire/life safety systems within the designated region via the provided monitoring systems.
  • Serve as the liaison between all departments and the Security Department.
  • Handle (without delay) complaints and unusual/critical event information to the leadership team
  • Directly responsible for the accurate documentation of routine and unusual events occurring on or near the facilities (accomplished via shift reports, pass-down logs, incident reports, or other established methods)
  • Accurately maintain control of all equipment and keys in the Control Room. Logs all equipment and keys signed out and returned by Credit Karma staff.
  • Inform (without delay) the Leadership Team of any missing, damaged, or inoperative equipment or communications, alarm, CCTV, or other systems.
  • Proactively monitor all surveillance cameras and CCTV remote viewer programs. Monitors and responds to all security/life safety system alarms.
  • Answer and respond to events and situations received over regular and emergency phones and intercoms
  • Control and monitor the two-way communication systems
  • Speak, give direction, and guide employees and security staff during emergencies.

  • Strong understanding and troubleshooting of CCTV and Physical Access Control Systems
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Have strong prioritization abilities
  • Strong analytical skills; able to analyze problems, identify causes, and implement results-oriented solutions
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Proficient with computers. 
  • Develop and write clear and concise emails and memos
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make sound decisions
  • A professional demeanor, along with excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently while also being a team player

  • 3-5 years of Global Physical Security Operations Center Experience
  • Amag Symmetry Certification
  • Avigilon Certification
  • Must be knowledgeable of all client and company GPSOC policies and
