The Senior Director of Investor Relations, is a key member of the IR team  and plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's investor relations strategy, helping to ensure the Company is appropriately positioned with the investment community. In partnership with the SVP Investor Relations you will help cultivate and maintain positive relationships with our analyst and investor community, develop and execute on the IR strategic plan and support all ongoing IR activities. You will act as one of the primary points of contact for all investor-related matters and will work closely with the SVP Investor Relations, Chief Financial Officer, and the management team to communicate the company's value proposition, financial performance, growth prospects, and strategic initiatives effectively.

 

THE CHALLENGE:

 

Develop and Execute Investor Relations Strategy:

  • Help create and implement a strategic and proactive investor relations strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and milestones to effectively communicate the company's financial performance and growth prospects.

Engage with the Investment Community:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and key stakeholders in the financial community.
  • Help organize and participate in investor conferences, roadshows, and other relevant events.
  • Educate and update investors and analysts by creating balanced and consistent investment messaging in partnership with SVP, Investor Relations.
  • Understand the company's current strategies, operations and financial performance in order to quickly and accurately respond to inquiries by the investment community.
  • Understand the investment communities’ perspectives, concerns, and feedback.
  • Help develop strategies to attract and retain long-term investors while expanding the company's shareholder base.

Financial Communications:

  • Partner with Finance team and other stakeholders to prepare and review financial reports, and other materials for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Help manage quarterly earnings releases and conference calls, including developing key themes and issues to be presented, crafting earnings scripts, investor presentation and Q&A materials.
  • Develop investor-related communications for call investor conferences, roadshows, etc.

Investor Day:

  • Play a key role in planning and preparing key materials for Investor Day including helping manage the overall process, helping develop presenter scripts, slides etc.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining the Narrative Arc/Messaging Roadmap and related analyses.

Market Intelligence and Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor performance, and industry developments for SVP, Investor Relations, the executive leadership team and Board of Directors.
  • Prepare investor relations and peer update summaries for senior management.
  • Help Identify potential areas of risk or concern and develop strategies to address them effectively.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations as a Foreign Filer, including IFRS, SEC filings and other regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with legal, communications and finance teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial disclosures.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field. MBA, CPA or CFA designation is a plus.
  • 12+ years’ experience in finance, with either investor relations, equity research, or investment management experience a requirement
  • Relevant Industry experience a plus - Sports Technology, Sporting Betting and/or Sports Entertainment.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment trends, and relevant regulations.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, forecasting, and modelling.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors and analysts.
  • Demonstrated track record within a technology or tech-enabled business.
