Position Summary

The Supplemental Benefits and Client Success team at CVS is one of the fastest growing business units in the enterprise and is uniquely situated at the center of our retail and healthcare businesses. 

We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our team in an essential role as CVS expands its offerings in this space.  The ideal candidate will be highly adaptable and able to excel in a wide variety of areas – including client facing responsibilities, data synthesizing and analytics, internal/external stakeholder management, and retail assortment strategies.  Furthermore, the ideal individual should be self-motivated, demonstrate executive presence, and be able to act as a strategic thought partner to both enterprise leaders and external clients. 

In this role, the Senior Manager, Supplemental Benefits and Client Success will work cross-functionally with our inventory, supply chain, retail IT, digital product, marketing, CMX, merchandising, and Store Operations teams.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Identify and lead opportunities for account growth, working closely with Sales and Operations to draft pricing and shipping analyses and working with Account Managers to implement strategic initiatives
  • Boost benefit $ utilization in top 10 clients through development of marketing programs, TV ads, and activations
  • Manage outage triage and high priority client escalations by working with IT, Account Management, Ops, and Digital. Draft client comms in event of outage or escalation
  • Manage contract agreement discussions with in-house counsel, leading agreement drafting and serving as point of contact from the Client Success Team for legal counsel
  • Create pricing analyses and support proposal deliverables for RFPs and cross-sell opportunities
  • Lead and grow ad-hoc special projects, such as the development of new CMS mandated encounter reporting for clients across our BOB
  • Attend implementation meetings as a representative of the Client Success Team, with the goal of facilitating a smooth transition from the implementation team
  • Oversee recalls communications for impacted clients, working closely with recall merch team
  • Oversee QBR and MBR meeting scheduling, deck materials prep, and client facing communications

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years’ experience in Sales, Retail CPG, Management Consulting / Investment Banking / Private Equity / Health Plans or Account Management
  • Ability to travel on a limited basis
  • Demonstrated ability to drive problem-solving despite being presented with ambiguous issues
  • In client work, ability to manage stressful situations
  • Institutional knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, payor space, and/or supplemental benefits


Preferred Qualifications

  • General Manager experience with strong business acumen and functional understanding across sales, finance, or account management
  • Omni-channel experience
  • MBA


Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.40


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
