Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will contribute to risk identification, monitoring, management and reviews for the organization, coordinate risk mitigation activities, and provide risk mitigation assistance to other groups.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

The Loan Portfolio Credit Risk Analyst - Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Monitor and identify Single Family book portfolio risks to a group or the organization.
  • Coordinate risk activities across groups.
  • Analyze risks and collaborate with team to develop solutions.
  • Partner with teams and business groups on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Implement plans or decisions to manage risks or mitigate their impact.
  • Use data and expert judgment to assist the team in developing forward-looking estimates and sensitivities related to our capital usage and perform risk limit monitoring.

 

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experience

  • 2 years of relevant experience

Desired Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 4 years of relevant experience and Master’s degree or equivalent strongly desired
  • Experience analyzing credit risk and the Regulatory Capital Rule preferred
  • Risk assessment and management skills including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, and remediating risk
  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
  • Experience with data analysis to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data
  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI Excel, Python, Tableau skills
  • Relationship management skills including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, and building relationship networks
  • Influencing skills including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
  • Must be able to work with individuals having a different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively while working toward a common goal
