Summary:

The Business Development Client Executive is responsible for the identification, execution, and support of key partnerships. Possesses the ability to evaluate and manage strategic business opportunities, initiatives, partnerships, alliances, and other strategic ventures in a matrixed environment. Has the ability to oversee market analysis, monitor competitive activity and proactively identify customer needs to define vision, strategy, and tactics by working with the CEO, senior leadership team, key stakeholders, account management, product management, engineering, and delivery. Has strong leadership skills and is impeccable at planning, designing, conducting due diligence, and implementation of strategic business objectives for new business opportunities and partnerships.

Responsibilities:

• Identify business opportunities, lead proposal development efforts through award and participation as an independent evaluator in all Identity and Security proposal reviews to ensure continuity from proposal delivery to capture.

• Develop, maintain, and secure a pipeline of strategically relevant business opportunities aligned with the Identity and Security business opportunities that evolve into a portfolio of contract awards.

• Support developing strategic plans, develop comprehensive account plans, and identify and qualify new business opportunities.

• Establish relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with partner companies and the NSS team to develop winning teaming strategies, support competitive analysis, develop pricing analysis, and bid winning solutions.

• Identify opportunities for business or program expansion, develop and manage relationships in strategic markets and accounts that further business development activity.

• Develop reports, briefings, and other management materials to support Executive Management decision making.

• Present milestone progress reviews key stakeholders and the Executive Leadership Team.

• Develop and disseminate information on a continuous basis to all stakeholders concerning the fulfillment of sector business growth goals and objectives.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, IT Management (or related field), or related experience

• 10+ years of Business Development and Federal Sales experience

• Experience with Identity and Security sales cycle and contracts

• Deep access and experience with Identity and Access Management solutions preferred.

• A hunter sales mentality – closing new deals in new markets.

• Must be a creative deal-closer with solution based selling background and track record of closing multiple and single award deals for “new” business.

• Network of Identity and Security customer contacts and must be familiar with the customer's major programs and upcoming initiatives.

• The candidate should have a working knowledge of the Federal procurement process, and a demonstrated proficiency within Federal Civilian, Intelligence and Department of Defense strategy and acquisition plans.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to gain support and establish working relationships with managers, peers, and staff.

• Ability to contribute to strategy development, long-range positioning, and execution.

• Extraordinary project and relationship management skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization. Identity and Security program and portfolio management experience.

• Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience.

• Dynamic, success driven, entrepreneurial self-starter, with good leadership, collaboration, and business development skills.
