Role Overview

 

Van Cleef & Arpels is seeking a Manager, Retail Systems and Technology. In this role, you are expected to manage systems implementations, Retail Sales and Operations Systems and Ticket Management to enhance the efficiency of retail business processes. Developing impactful training strategies aligned with system designs, collaborating with the team for system updates, and efficient IT support management are integral aspects of this role. This role will report to the Director of Retail Operations & Performance.

 

Responsibilities

 

Systems implementations (POS, OMS, ERP)

• Conduct requirements sessions with business users and subject matter experts to understand and document current and future business needs related to selling and operational technology
• Challenge status quo with goal of improving efficiency of business processes for our retail teams and ultimately delivering an elevated experience to clients
• Supporting in developing and reviewing test cases for Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing and coordinate the end-to-end UAT process, including tracking results and feedback
• Deliver project milestones (requirements due dates, training dates, release dates, etc.) within set budgets and timeframes
• Support development of training strategy and execution to ensure an impactful delivery in the local market.
• Drive creation of training documentation to ensure alignment with system designs and standard operating procedures.

Retail Sales and Operations Systems

• Monitor any critical issues from either project implementations or steady state operations as well as frequently asked questions to build into strategy for future phases
• Partner with relevant business leads to prioritize, plan and communicate system issues and updates

IT Support (Ticket Management)

• SLAs for addressing and resolving issues should be well established and based on retail experience and monitored regularly to ensure they are met. Any blockers to this need to be escalated to appropriate teams
• Issues surfacing from the monitoring of orders should be incorporated into the overall Retail Technology pipeline and prioritized based on impact to business and client experience  

Qualifications

 

• At least 8-10 years of previous work experience in luxury retail management
• Strong knowledge in Retail Operations and technology; including SAP, POS and Payment systems, JIRA, Service Now
• Proven experience monitoring, tracking and reporting on technology tickets and enhancements
• Experience in writing technical documents, user stories, and training content
• Proven track record of successful project delivery, from planning through implementation including strong problem solving and negotiations skills with a risk management mindset
• Strong Leadership and Communications skills with the ability to influence global and local stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse and cross functional teams including global teams

Expected Salary Range: $90K-$105K/yearly.

This role is annual bonus eligible.
