Sr. Software Engineer, UI/UX

A Fender is more than an instrument; it’s a cultural symbol that resonates globally.</p> <p>We are searching for a <strong>Sr. Software Engineer, UI/UX </strong>to join our <strong>PreSonus Software</strong> team located in Hamburg/Germany<strong>.</strong><em> </em>You will be part of a team bringing new products and features to market focused on personalization for creators at every level. You will represent the voice of UX, UI, creative, design and innovation. A strong advocacy for user-centered design is a must. You will collaborate with product managers, cross-functional stakeholders, and engineers to define, design, develop and deploy new experiences.</p> <p><strong>Essential Functions: </strong></p> <ul> <li><em>Work with the UI team lead and other members of the development team to design and develop our cross-platform application software</em></li> <li><em>Designing / improving and implementing the user interfaces of our application software, instruments, and plug-ins</em></li> <li><em>Participate in the development and implementation of company-wide UI/UX design concepts and guidelines</em></li> <li><em>Communicate closely and continuously with the development and QA groups, as well as product management</em></li> <li><em>Establish and push design exploration, R&amp;D and experimentation through rapid prototyping and testing</em></li> <li><em>Execute against KPI’s with the product and design teams</em></li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree in Graphics Design, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar education</li> <li>Minimum 3-5 years of experience in user interface design and development</li> <li>Proficiency with pixel and vector design tools (Photoshop, XD, or similar)</li> <li>Working experience with UI definition languages (HTML/CSS, or similar markup)</li> <li>Object-oriented programming skills are a plus </li> <li>Fluent German and English language skills</li> <li>Background in music production and audio technology, as well as knowledge of music production software and software instruments is a benefit</li> </ul> <p> </p>
