Digitalization is one of our most prioritised areas and we are now looking for a <strong>Senior Business Demand Architect</strong> to take responsibility and leadership in our transition to become fully digitalized. The role is closely connected to the Nordic BIO for our sales operations in all Nordic countries and we offer you a challenging career in a fast developing energy business from the utility to a digitalised service in a new energy landscape. Are you the one?</p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>As a<strong> Senior Business Demand Architect</strong> you will be part of strategic development like setting the Region Nordic IT strategy, planning and documenting the future IT landscape, monitor, inventory and develop our digital capabilities together with the business and Vattenfall´s internal IT department. You are responsible for converging our business demands into IT demands with the aim to achieve the desired outcome for the business through the use of information technology.</p><p> </p><p>You will have a dynamic role where you need to align with the business stakeholders as well as the IT development team within Vattenfall IT. For this we are looking for the right candidate with proven leadership skills and experience in change management. You will contribute in projects and assignments for our operations where you represent good practice from IT perspective, Vattenfall standards and supporting in evaluating development alternatives.</p><p><strong>Your key activities</strong></p><ul><li>Deeply involved in the strategic work with focus on how the business strategy impacts the IT landscape and what capabilities will be needed to meet the future challenges and needs.</li><li>Secure the overall holistic view of the IT landscape and secure that it is future proof and meets our short and long term needs in an effective way (both from a functional and cost effective point of view).</li><li>Understanding how business can benefit from new technologies such as AI, ML, RPA, Cloud etc.</li><li>Understanding of the business needs and how to turn them into IT demand.</li><li>As Senior Business Demand Architect you participate in projects and new developments to secure the solutions fulfill the business needs and also follows defined strategy and guiding principles from both business and IT.</li><li>Performing architectural reviews from a business perspective of new IT solutions with focus on Vattenfall overall strategy and principles, security demands and cost efficiency.</li><li>Participate in Vattenfall common forums concerning IT capabilities to secure exchange of knowledge and experience as well as reuse of smart solutions and other possible synergies.</li><li>Responsible for maintaining the overall documentation of the IT landscape for Region Nordic (e.g. document, maintain and secure high quality of the documentation of our systems).</li><li>Work closely with our security and IT organisation to secure high level of information- and IT-security as well as regulatory compliance (e.g. GDPR).</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>We are looking for a <strong>Senior Business Demand Architect</strong> who has minimum 10 years of relevant work experience. We believe you have good understanding of utility business processes and their IT capability needs. Moreover, you have strong communication skills and can communicate with different levels in the organisation. You know how to combine and balance stakeholders’ interests and are not afraid to take decisions to ensure output is being realised. We believe that you are passionate about your work and enjoy being in an ever-changing environment.</p><ul><li>Good understanding of the utility- and electricity business.</li><li>Experience from working in a large international company</li><li>Long experience of working with development of IT demands in a business context.</li><li>Deep experience in business and IT architecture, covering both process, information and system view.</li><li>Understanding and experience of agile methods and way of working.</li><li>Fluent in Swedish and English in written and spoken.</li><li
