Position Summary

Functions as customer service representative both in person and over the phone at Veterinary Medical Center's Internal Medicine and Specialty Services Units; successful candidate will schedule appointments, respond to general department emails, upload medical records and maintain a positive client / patient relationship with our clients and their pets. 

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge normally acquired through a high school education; a minimum of one year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in a medical office, medical clinic, or in mental health office; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of computer software including Microsoft products, Outlook email and calendar functions, VetStar and Instinct. Critical decision making skills while under stress. Excellent interpersonal skills needed to schedule appointments and interact with clients, veterinarians and staff. Experience with and knowledge of electronic medical record and patient scheduling systems.
