POSITION TITLE: Sr. Manager, Enterprise Payment Systems
POSITION LOCATION: 654 Richland Hills Dr, San Antonio, TX 78245 - 100% remote position
SALARY: $129,800-$194,700/yr.
HOURS: Full Time/40 hours
JOB DUTIES: Serve as a Payment Subject Matter Expert (SME). Drive enterprise payment initiatives, focusing on technical aspects and fostering collaboration across IT, business, finance, and third-party vendors. Spearhead discussions on enterprise payment roadmap and strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices. Using deep understanding of payment systems and technologies, lead in-depth technical payment discussions both internally and externally with vendors. Facilitate discovery processes to identify opportunities for optimization, innovation, and efficiency within payment landscape. Resolve interdependencies with various teams, ensuring seamless integration of payment solutions with other business functions. Generate executive-level reports, providing a comprehensive overview of payment initiatives, milestones, and key performance indicators. Prepare organization for payment-related audits by maintaining comprehensive documentation, conducting internal audits, and addressing audit findings. Assist in third-party due diligence and conduct risk-based testing and monitoring for real-time issue identification. Partner with product owners, engineers, and development managers across various disciplines to develop requirements and solutions across multiple platforms. Project scoping, including analyzing, defining, and understanding business requests, gathering requirements, preparing budgets, defining process flows, performing risk assessments, and collecting time estimates. Individual contributor. Position does not have direct management or supervisory duties.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study and 8 years of progressive experience developing, integrating and maintaining omni-channel payment systems.
Applicants must have demonstrated experience with:
1) enterprise-level end-to-end payment platforms, technologies, and industry trends, with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
2) PCI compliance and compliance mandates.
3) payment terminals (including Verifone and Ingenico) and the EMV certification process.
4) end-to-end omni-channel payment processes, covering digital, retail, and cross channels, including tokenization, preauthorization, authorization, re-authorization, settlement, and recurring payments.
5) data security principles and best practices, including how they relate to payment systems.
6) implementing and managing fraud prevention measures within payment systems.
7) utilizing data analytics tools to extract business insights and drive data-driven decision-making processes.
8) working with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and external vendors.
9) identifying and resolving technical issues related to payment systems.
10) contributing to and driving strategic discussions to align payment initiatives with overall business goals.
11) contract negotiations.
12) preparing written and verbal communications that articulate technical details across diverse payment-related topics to non-technical stakeholders.
