About this role:

The WATCHMAN Division within Rhythm Solutions at Boston Scientific was designed to support and treat patients with the most common heart arrhythmia – atrial fibrillation. The goal of the Field Ops Training Manager is to support the growth of a best-in-market Field Force through robust training and continuous development. The trainer in this role will provide consistent and effective sales training to all new hires in their respective areas through their mapping certification pathway with innovative and scalable methods to support their learning. This role will focus on the existing technologies, such as the WATCHMAN, in addition to the newly approved FARAPULSE PFA System, which has quickly become a market-leading technology since its launch in February along with Concomitant procedures. Boston Scientific has a best-in-class sales force in the cardiology space, and this role will play an integral part in ensuring our new hires are able to learn and develop in a way that matches the existing field and products we support. This role will require a minimum of 50% travel.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for the development and supervision of Field Ops team members within assigned geography.
  • Assess and identify training needs and gaps and provide coaching and development for direct reports.
  • Launching new technologies and driving field clinical acumen
  • Responsible for carrying out company policies with sincerity and integrity. Ensures mapping team compliance with company policies, procedures, and administrative responsibilities.
  • Responds to customer needs related to products and services by developing creative and feasible solutions.
  • Provides ongoing training and development of AFC team members and facilitates and manages company-sponsored training and events, including in-person Tech Nights.
  • Creates training tools to meet the demand of the AFC field force.
  • Participates as a core team member of the R&D Field Response Team.
  • Performs progressive reviews during regular field visits and formally during corporate mid-year and annual performance review process.
  • Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.
  • Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.
  • Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g., federal/country and regulatory requirements).

What we're looking for in you:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers (including all BSC divisions).
  • FARAPULSE & WATCHMAN Certified

Preferred Qualifications:
