Senior Machine Learning Scientist, Marketing 

Join our Marketing Channels and Technology team as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist to lead the development and implementation of machine learning models that enhance our understanding of customer lifetime value and inform strategic business decisions. What you will do

• Translate business objectives into well-defined machine learning problems and implement solutions from start to finish.

• Partner with engineering teams to productionize machine learning solutions, focusing on scalability and robustness.

• Document your work and communicate results clearly and effectively to business stakeholders, product management, and executive teams.

• Lead by example in technical excellence, mentoring junior team members and driving the team towards innovative, high-quality machine learning practices.

• Collaborate with partners to align machine learning solutions with business needs, ensuring the insights are actionable and practical.

Who you are

• Master’s or PhD in a technical field; or equivalent related professional experience

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in building industry-grade machine learning models

• Proficient in Python, demonstrating strong algorithm design and object-oriented programming expertise.

• Proficient in SQL-like query languages for data extraction and transformation.

• Experience working with large data sets in a distributed computing environment such as Spark is advantageous.

• Solid understanding of modern machine learning techniques and statistics.

• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks is a plus.

• Familiarity with causal inference and causal ML is a plus.

• Strong interpersonal skills, both written and oral.

• Has a proven track record of driving projects from inception to completion and collaborating effectively with diverse, international teams.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $173,000.00 to $242,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $277,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.  Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
