Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Food Warehouse Supervisor Administration is responsible for providing remarkable service to Universal Studios Hollywood Food Service Venues and internal FDC Team members. This role will be responsible for handling all types of Venue inquiries including order discrepancies, delays and shortages. This person will need to have the ability to handle each customer inquiry with a calm and friendly demeanor. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, active listening, time management & organizational skills and extensive park knowledge will be critical to the success of this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Major Supervisor Responsibilities
- Responsible for supervising employees’ workflow, setting leadership standards, and guiding work locations efficiency. Builds internal relationships ensure our employees are exceeding expectations.
- Observes, critiques, and adjusts the daily functions of both departmental personnel and standard operating procedures to provide quality guest service.
- Acts as Environmental Health & Safety Team representative for the employees.
- Maintain a clean, safe and professional work environment.
- Ensure proper training of new hires is upheld to the content of the training materials.
- Ensure the workforce is trained and proficient at assigned tasks.
- Provide oversight of Production Kitchen (PK) and Production Bakery (PB) as a management representative as needed
- Lead workforce planning, reward and recognition planning, employee events, and employee satisfaction action planning.
- Effectively updates/maintains employee training Roster
- Effectively communicates TM information (vacation request, change of Availability, Time-Keeper Change form etc.) or any pending employee situations to management in a timely manner
- Uses professional grammar, language, and records as many details as possible to gather necessary information to assist Management in follow up of issue
- Support the employee and guest satisfaction programs and ensures the staff understands the importance of the programs.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws regarding food quality, safety, labor, employment, and Union guidelines, as well as Company policies and procedures.
- Remain well-informed and knowledgeable of Local 11 & Studio Drivers 399 union contracts
- Mentors & counsels team members to ensure appropriate policies and procedures are followed
Major Administrative Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to answering phone, filing paperwork, photocopying; attend required meetings, data entry, computer clerical
- Resolves problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions using appropriate and reasonable recovery;
