Position Description
The Assistant Project Manager supports multisite projects by coordinating vendors, tracking deliverables, and managing budgets. This role ensures project efficiency, quality, and timely completion while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, candidates should have experience with petroleum equipment, underground and aboveground fuel storage tanks, and/or experience in the construction industry. Candidates that do not meet prior industry experience must be willing and able to complete travel and training requirements outlined below for the first year of employment.

This position is well suited for individuals who are flexible, dependable, and comfortable with frequent travel. It involves working in a variety of environments and job sites, often across a wide geographic area to support client needs.

Position Description

- Initial Training:
The role begins with approximately four weeks of in-person training based out of our Richardson, TX office. During this period, overnight travel will be required about 50% of the time. - Ongoing Travel:
After training, the position will involve overnight travel approximately +75% of the time. During peak testing seasons, technicians may be required to travel for up to three consecutive weeks, including weekends, depending on project and client schedules.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and managing project budgets in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Monitor and control project costs to ensure they remain within budget parameters.
- Support cost tracking efforts and financial reporting for assigned projects.
- Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely execution of project milestones.
- Coordinate and communicate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to align project timelines and deliverables.
- Track vendor performance, ensuring all work meets required quality standards and deadlines.
- Assist in procurement and scheduling of materials, services, and labor for projects.
- Oversee the daily activities of the project team, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to project requirements.
