Ardmore Home Design (AHD), founded in 2008, is a privately owned, fast-paced, founder-led entrepreneurial company where we value people with strong skills to make our products and processes better every day. We design, sell, and distribute luxury home décor globally to interior designers and boutique/luxury retailers. The AHD family of wholesale brands includes Made Goods (flagship furniture made from unique materials), Pigeon & Poodle (home and bath accessories), Blue Pheasant (handcrafted tabletop products) and Burton James (seating home furnishing). 

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of all outbound and inbound freight invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
• Prepare and process weekly ACH, wire, and check payments, while reporting and reconciling bank transactions.
• Conduct balance sheet, credit card, and cash reconciliations to support month-end closing activities, emphasizing accruals and account accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to address inquiries, resolve issues, and support company-wide initiatives.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements within the accounts payable function.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle accounts payable, with a solid understanding of general ledger processes.
• Strong experience with month-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and accruals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience using excel for formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis for reporting and reconciliation tasks is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative mindset to work effectively within the accounting team and across departments.
• Highly organized with a sense of urgency to manage multiple deliverables while maintaining accuracy.
• A commitment to continuous improvement and efficiency in all accounting processes.

Compensation· This role is classified as non-exempt with a starting base pay of $24 - $29 an hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
