Position: Warehouse Supervisor
Summary: Rivers Casino Pittsburgh is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all warehouse activities on a shift basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team in the efficient handling of inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring workplace safety, and fostering a collaborative environment. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the efficient unloading, stacking, picking, and staging of product shipments.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Fill orders and issue supplies according to department procedures.
- Prepare and maintain reports and records as required.
- Direct and participate in inventories and assist with inventory reconciliations.
- Assist in developing department budgets.
- Communicate and coordinate activities with other departments.
- Maintain cross-shift communication for seamless operations.
- Ensure safe operation of all materials handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and secure work area.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures, investigate accidents, and report violations.
- Uphold food safety practices.
- Conduct shift meetings and enforce policies and procedures.
- Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staffing levels.
- Maintain work records and reports.
- Collaborate with team members and managers to solve problems.
- Evaluate team member performance and provide feedback.
- Conduct staff meetings and coach team members in personal and professional development.
- Recommend personnel actions and address grievances.
- Assess training needs and arrange appropriate instruction.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- 2+ years of warehousing and inventory experience.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience; or a bachelor’s degree or combination of both.
- Effective verbal, written, and math skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office or Google G-Suite; experience with Red Rock Inventory Purchasing system preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving policy requirements.
- Ability to operate a forklift and obtain proper licensing.
- Strong communication skills with team members and guests.
- Ability to fulfill pre-employment requirements.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Certifications:
- Must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania Non-Gaming License. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with this license.
Physical Requirements:
- Extended periods of standing
- Regular bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching
- Ability to push/pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds frequently
