Purpose:

The Senior Desktop Analyst position will work closely with information technology teams, vendors and business units to design and implement IT solutions to meet business objectives and meet regulatory requirements.

We are looking for an individual who has a proven track record designing and managing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure in an enterprise environment. Additionally, the position will require an individual experienced in client-side system design and integration, vulnerability management, and process automation and improvement. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills, who exceeds as an individual, as well as excels among peers in a team environment.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Responds to end-user requests for support and maintenance for the following client hardware/software platforms listed in the IT Standards.

• Fulfills customer requirements via design/build/test/troubleshoot/document activities for enterprise-class client computing hardware, software, support tools and platforms.

• Administers the operations and maintenance of the VM Horizon environment, servers & components. To include configuration of static VM desktops and the Horizon VDI “gold images” and administers Horizon desktop pools, including DEM, AppVol, and thin-client and PC access. 

• Perform hardware, software and IS installations, moves, adds and changes (IMAC) for PCs and related peripherals.

• Use PC configuration management tools to perform system administration (for example, adding workstations to the domain, writing procedures, etc.), software distribution, patch management, and inventory management.
