Essential Responsibilities

• Perform quality activities for Advanced Nuclear projects to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and GEH requirements
• Support project execution for procured products
• Work with suppliers to define quality requirements, inspection and verification processes, qualification activities, and test controls
• Provide technical guidance to suppliers to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
• Resolve supplier quality issues and disposition nonconforming product
• Execute supplier quality surveillance activities for New Reactor programs
• Write and review quality documents, plans, and procedures
• Support corrective action and error prevention efforts

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college/university, or High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of nuclear industry experience
• 4+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering support, or nuclear quality assurance
• 2+ years of experience in a nuclear quality role
• Strong understanding of nuclear safety culture
• Experience with NDE processes, ASME Code requirements, welding issues, and quality inspections
• Familiarity with electrical/electronic standards, control systems, software-based protection systems, PLC/SCADA, and related testing methods
• Knowledge of ASME NQA-1, CSA N299, CSA N285, and ISO 9001
• Must be willing to travel to supplier and customer sites as required, up to 40%
• Preferred work location is GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; highly qualified U.S.-based remote candidates will be considered

The base pay range for this position is $93,500.00 - 155,900.00 USD Annual.  The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. ​

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
