Pay
- Starting base rate of $30.00 per hour, with the final rate based on experience
- Earn an additional 8% premium for working 2nd shift
- Starting 2nd-shift rate is $32.40 per hour, including the premium

About the Role
POLYWOOD® is looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.
In this role, you will diagnose equipment problems, complete repairs, perform preventive maintenance, and help reduce production downtime. You should be comfortable working independently, making sound decisions, and supporting safe and reliable 2nd-shift operations.

What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including I/O, sensors, VFDs, HMIs, safety circuits, and motor controls
- Diagnose and repair industrial power systems, including 120 to 480-volt single-phase and three-phase circuits
- Find the root causes of equipment failures and help put long-term solutions in place
- Complete preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability
- Troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery, extruders, heating elements, motors, temperature controllers, and pneumatic systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues involving dust collection systems
- Repair belts, pulleys, bearings, and gear-driven components
- Assist with plumbing and basic building upkeep as needed
- Read and follow electrical schematics, control drawings, and technical documents
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures and all workplace safety standards
- Partner with maintenance leadership and other departments to improve equipment and processes
- Work independently and provide dependable technical support during 2nd shift
What You Bring
- Five or more years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems, electrical controls, and production equipment
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, control panels, wiring methods, and electrical schematics
- Experience working with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, sensors, safety circuits, and motor controls
- Ability to identify the root causes of complex equipment and automation failures
- Working knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and industrial safety practices
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and equipment reliability
- A dependable, self-directed approach to your work
- Comfort working independently and making maintenance decisions
- Ability to pass a background check
Bonus Skills
- Journeyman-level electrical training, certification, or equivalent experience
- Experience with Rockwell, Siemens, or similar PLC platforms
