What’s unique about this role?

The eDiscovery Senior Consultant works as a member of a Client Services team and collaborates with clients and internal operational teams to lead, manage and support work associated with eDiscovery matters. 

 They will work to ensure project requirements are met.

 The Senior Consultant oversees day-to-day project tasks, including collection organization, advanced culling and document review strategies, database structure, production, and any other best practices related to the eDiscovery process. Serves as the point of contact to the client and outside counsel regarding technical review support.

What will this person do?

  • Support the Client Services team by executing project-specific tasks covering all aspects of the EDRM: data loading, processing, searching and analysis (including term normalization and reporting),
  • Export and run productions or document exports from Relativity and Relativity Desktop Client
  • Provide review support (including the use of TAR/CAL where appropriate), and analytics support for our clients
  • Gain an understanding of the critical paths needed to progress work through the system, and tools used by Lighthouse to manage workflows and develop client relationships
  • Execute client requests and liaise with clients to manage the scope, execution, and overall delivery of solutions that comply with industry best practices and Lighthouse standards
  • Assist with quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of job instructions and of final work product
  • As requested, participate in project management tasks including custom reporting, kick-off calls, documentation of workflows and standards, and project closure tasks

 

 

Bring your passion and together we will shine.   It would also be great if you have the following:

  • 2+ years of experience in client services or other client facing roles
  • Expertise in the full scope of the legal and eDiscovery lifecycle
  • Knowledge of legal and eDiscovery technologies (e.g., EnCase, iPro, Nuix, Relativity, Brainspace)
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and change management skills
  • Flexibility to pivot with changing client business goals, needs and requirements

Ability to convey complex technical points with simplicity and clarity

  • Bachelor’s degree (Masters or Juris Doctor a plus)
  • 3+ years of experience in legal technology, eDiscovery, or information governance
  • Expertise in the full scope of the legal and eDiscovery lifecycle
  • Fluent German and English language skills


Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Duties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table.
  • Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting.
  • Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).

Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location, or other relevant factors. The salary range for this position may be tailored to be lower or higher in different talent markets.

 

The expected pay for this role will range from €77,000 to €92,000 per year.  This role will be eligible to participate in an annual bonus or incentive program.
