Your Role: Surgical Assistant
As a Surgical Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring smooth procedures and excellent patient experiences from start to finish. You’ll work closely with the oral surgeon and the rest of our clinical team to create a calm and comfortable environment for our patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing the surgical area, instruments, and equipment before each procedure
- Assisting the surgeon by anticipating needs and providing hands-on support throughout procedures
- Keeping surgical areas clean and instruments sterilized
- Monitoring and recording patient vitals to ensure safety and comfort
- Providing patients with post-operative care instructions and materials
- Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Supporting general office responsibilities and team operations as needed
- Working full-time on a 4-day weekly schedule
Your Background
You’re a compassionate, detail-oriented Surgical Assistant with a passion for helping patients feel safe and supported. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in being a dependable, collaborative teammate.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- 2–3+ years of experience as an oral surgery assistant
- X-ray certification required
- Familiarity with dental instruments and sterilization protocols
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Strong computer and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and reliability
- High school diploma required
- Surgical Assistant certificate and/or active radiology license (as required by state law)

Position Base Pay Range$20—$23 USDSpecialty1 Partners is the direct employer of non-clinical employees only. For clinical employees, the applicable practice entity listed above in the job posting is the employer. Clinical employees include dental assistants and staff assisting with actual direct treatment of patients.
