The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Global Services (BGS) Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) team is looking for an Environmental Engineer/Scientist (Associate or Mid-Level) to support Boeing San Antonio and other BGS regional locations!
This position is located in San Antonio, TX. This position requires a candidate with knowledge and experience across multiple environmental media (Storm Water, SPCC, Tanks and Sumps, SARA Reporting, etc). The candidate will travel to other Boeing Global Services locations to support, mentor, and perform internal auditing. Boeing San Antonio is an exciting location that is currently expanding operations. Operations at Boeing San Antonio support multiple defense programs in the growing business of aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops, implements and monitors environmental management systems, processes and programs
Assesses the impact of emerging environmental issues, legislation and regulations on company operations
Acts as primary site interface with regulatory agencies
Active engagement with leadership and employees on environmental compliance best practices
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience with environmental compliance, environmental program management
1+ years of experience in areas of air quality, stormwater, hazardous waste, industrial wastewater, spill prevention, storage tanks, environmental sampling, data analysis, and environmental reporting
1+ years of experience interacting with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in environmental science, chemistry, biology, geology, environmental management or engineering
Level 3: 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Level 2: 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with environmental compliance and regulations
Environmental Permitting Experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Level 2: $73,100 - $98,900
Summary pay range for Level 3: $90,100 - $121,900
