What you will do:
Provide Operation, Maintenance, and Fixing of Turbine/Compressor package unit, which including start, stop, load adjustment, alarm & operation variables supervising, and initial response as the need arises.
Advises other employees in performance EC tech and operational duties.
Assists others in repairing all station equipment.
Serve as a backup EC Tech at other locations on an as needed basis.
Work with significant independence on standard assignments.
Continuously demonstrate and promote Enbridge Safety Policies and Procedures.
Participate in design reviews with the ability to decipher diagrammatic/one-line drawings
Ensure that all pertinent records are accurate, current and that preventative maintenance schedules are timely.
Supervises operational pressures, alarm set points, and react to abnormal conditions.
Monitors, operates, and performs routine inspections on station air systems, fuel systems, cooling water systems, oil systems, and safety systems.
Operate Turbine, auxiliary equipment, station valves.
Monitors operation of station filter systems and liquids storage systems.
Involved in planning work and contributing budget related information as required.
Be a strong successful team member and/or lead as needed.
Performs work in compliance with Company policies/procedures as well as external regulatory bodies, such as Pipeline Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through alignment to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals.
Who you are:
You have the following education and/or experience:
Associate Degree in a relevant technical field, such as, Electrical Controls, Electrical Engineering, Controls Technology, Electronics Technology, or equivalent education.
One year of electrical/instrumentation/controls experience in an industrial type setting.
One year of experience at Station Operation as a stand-alone Operator.
Completion of the Enbridge Technician Trainee Candidate Program with 3 months of hands-on work with an Enbridge Technician.
Knowledgeable in NFPE 70E Code & Arc Flash Safety
You reside or are willing to reside within 30 miles of assigned location
Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, be on call and standby, and travel overnight as required.
Working Conditions:
Scheduled travel is up to 25% of the time going to Enbridge offices and field locations
Available outside normal work hours to address any technical, cost, safety and environmental issues that occur during active projects
Company paid international relocation is not offered for this role.
