About the role

Overview

The Fiction team is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and highly values diverse backgrounds and insights that fuel our innovation.

Join a big-five publisher and be part of our mission to inspire the world. The Fiction team for HarperCollins Christian Publishing and HarperCollins Focus prides itself on strong author relationships, award-winning content, bestselling books, and a cohesive team environment and is currently seeking an Ad Marketing Manager / Sr. Manager, depending on experience. The team manages Thomas Nelson Fiction and Harper Muse titles and publishes both Christian and general-market novels by bestselling authors such as Charles Martin, Colleen Coble, Terri Blackstock, Courtney Walsh, Melissa Ferguson, Katherine Reay, Marie Bostwick, and many others.

The Manager / Sr. Manager will plan, execute, and manage all paid ad campaigns on Amazon and across social media platforms for frontlist and select backlist titles. The focus of this role is to execute and maintain highly effective paid ad campaigns and to continually optimize them through testing, keyword analysis, bidding strategy, etc. for best performance. Each book is a “product”, and this role is responsible for determining the appropriate consumer-facing paid advertising on Amazon and social media that’s needed to successfully launch and sell each book. Additionally, this role will create the graphics / videos needed for that paid advertising. The Manager / Sr. Manager will also be responsible for the ROI analysis and reporting of results for each campaign, to ensure they are driving sales and growth that will meet the defined monthly and annual revenue goals.

Between the two imprints, we release approximately 45 new frontlist books / products per year across multiple genres – allowing the Manager / Sr. Manager ample opportunities for creative and dynamic new product launches and continual variety. In this role, you will be able to own the paid ad process from start to finish – set strategy, set up and execute campaigns, report on campaign data and interpret the findings, and use those learnings to inform future campaigns.

Our preference is to fill this position in Nashville, TN but we are also open to qualified candidates that are located outside of the Nashville area.
