Position Overview
The Director, Client Events will work in partnership with the Central and Zone Client Relations Teams and NYC functional partners to build a zone wide strategy to ensure the successful execution of in-store and out of stores events and animations. This role will seek to build and implement client events that elevate our client’s experience from ideation and creation to execution and logistic support.
The Director, Client Events must be able to think strategically while also being hands-on in overseeing the day-to-day execution of the agreed upon strategy with a focus on clients, people, and brand desirability. They will be open and approachable and will work with both the central team and the local teams in a transparent, united and mutually supportive manner. Key Accountabilities
- Lead all in-store client events including out-of-network and caravan in-store events.
- Identify new business opportunities through our existing and new products, networks, department stores, external partners, and industry trends.
- Work in partnership with global and regional teams on all events requests, including concept, merchandising, VM, logistics and reporting.
- Lead all post-event reporting to further optimize the ROI and deepen relationships with Clients.
- Effectively manage Client Relations budget along with controllable expenses to achieve event and annual goals.
- Partner with the broader Client Relations, Client Events, Client Development & Merchandising teams, build a yearlong calendar & 360 plan for all events, ensuring they support the Regions/Countries business objectives.
- Responsible for building and developing a strategic business for all in-store and out of network events, by cultivating a comprehensive business plan that is highly effective for producing successful out of network events.
- Ensure key product assortment is appropriately allocated for each event, working closing with Merchandising, Supply Chain and Logistics to secure product.
- Continuously challenge self and the teams to deliver events and experiences for our clients that systematically surprise and delight them while exceeding expected event ROI.
- Lead & inspire their direct report, continuously offering developmental feedback and coaching moments which elevate their skills and ability to deliver within their role.
- Provide logistic project support for Savoir Faire ideation, creation and execution.
Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in event design and execution

Preferred
- Relevant event / production industry with key understanding of the codes of the luxury industry
The hiring range for this position ranges from $131,495 - $185,640. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
