The Post Trade IT department is operating on-prem and cloud-based IT infrastructure for clearing platforms, settlements, and vault management. This also includes the management of data backup infrastructure in physical tape media libraries and Linux administration.
Your responsibilities:
- SUSE / Red Hat Linux installation, maintenance & administration
- IBM Spectrum Protect Backup server administration.
- Installation and maintenance of Linux tape drivers
- Support of the IBM 3592 tape drives and tape media library inventories
- 3592 media management
- Monitoring of backup errors
- Implement and ensuring of backup infrastructure security controls.
- Backup infrastructure capacity management
Your profile:
- At least 1 year of practical experience IBM Spectrum Protect Backup server management.
- Experience with Linux administration
- Experience with IBM tape libraries and 3592 technologies
- Disk media management for Spectrum Protect servers
- Some mainframe zLinux and zVM knowhow would be of benefit.
