Messa Sync is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Public Relations Assistant to support our communications and outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will play a key role in crafting the public image of our clients by coordinating media relations, managing press materials, and supporting event planning initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing and executing public relations strategies and campaigns
Draft and edit press releases, media advisories, and briefing materials
Coordinate interviews and speaking engagements for clients or executives
Monitor media coverage and compile reports for internal and client use
Support planning and logistics for PR events, conferences, and community outreach
Maintain and update media lists and contact databases
Liaise with vendors, journalists, and internal teams as needed
Research industry trends to support PR strategies and messaging
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
1–2 years of experience in a PR or communications-related role preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong understanding of media relations and public engagement principles
