General Description
Our mission of the Division of Procurement Planning and Strategic Sourcing is to work in partnership with our DWM offices/customers to provide efficient, effective, innovative, high-quality goods and services in a timely manner. 

Our vision is to become a center of excellence for procurement planning, strategic sourcing, and contracts administration in a water utility and to be recognized as an industry leader who delivers excellent customer service through collaborative relationships and a reduction of the total cost of ownership to all stakeholders. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities for the Division of Procurement Planning and Strategic Sourcing
Responsibilities: These are typical responsibilities for this position and should not be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. May perform other duties as assigned.

Interns will assist with developing presentations, prepare and/or edit Excel spreadsheets, procurement packages.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Reading, writing, comprehension
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Telephone Etiquette
• Attention to detail
• Communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Customer Service 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be eighteen years of age or older
• Must be authorized to work in the United States of America
• Must be a sophomore or above college student at application submission
• Minimum overall GPA 3.0 
• Must attach College Transcript – Unofficial IS acceptable (NO screenshots)
• Currently pursuing a bachelors, associates or above from an accredited college or university. 
• Must have at least one remaining semester at the start of the internship
• Must attach Resume (NO screenshots)
• Required Major: Procurement or Business
