We are looking to hire a Customer Business Manager immediately in a remote sales position based in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Customer Business Manager I is responsible for the achievement of volume objectives, budgets and planning. Execution of Retail controllables and customer collaboration are key responsibilities to the success of this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop specific plans for distributors and retailers, implementing tactics for: promotion, pricing, distribution, schematics & category management across many McCormick brands. Present and execute these plans.
- Develop and deliver customer plans to achieve volume objectives
- Determine appropriate product mix and gain subsequent distribution
- Manage direct and brokered accounts
- Manage trade promotion system
- Overnight travel may be required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Management or related field.
- 2 years Sales, Marketing or related experience with a minimum of 1 year experience managing customer base.
- Expert understanding of CPG industry sector and competitive landscape
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication & organization skills.
- Strong negotiation, influencing and leadership skills.
- Strong computer and analytical skills.
- Understanding of how Sales integrates with other commercialization areas – marketing, supply chain and finance.
- Valid drivers license.
- Must be willing to relocate for future opportunity.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Expert knowledge of McCormick products, mix & impact to profit, and awareness of store conditions and current & best practices within area preferred.
- Experience in channels/segments outside of traditional grocery (i.e, Distributor).
- Knowledge of syndicated data

Base Salary: $87,910 - $153,870.
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
