Senior Technical Support Engineer (Developer Support)

Team Introduction：
We are the developer platform product team behind the PICO XR product. Our mission is to empower developers worldwide to build next-generation spatial computing applications by providing clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical resources. We work closely with product, R&D, and support teams to ensure a seamless and productive development experience. Responsibilities:
1) Support PICO developers in using the Android technology stack and PICO SDK to develop AR/VR/MR applications. Deeply understand and organize developers' needs, and provide solutions for technical problems encountered by developers.
2) Promptly and accurately pass on developers' technical feedback to the SDK product and R&D teams. Actively participate in technical discussions and help drive the improvement of PICO SDK products.
3) Use Android technology stack and PICO SDK to create open-source sample projects that showcase SDK features, enabling developers to learn from them and get started quickly..
4) Actively advocate for PICO SDK by publishing video tutorials on social media.
5) Stay a committed learner in all technologies related to AR/VR/MR development.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
1) 3+ years of Android development experience, with a solid foundation in Java/Kotlin and familiarity with the Android SDK/NDK, along with an in-depth grasp of Jetpack Compose.
2) Familiar with Android system APIs, Framework mechanisms, and basic components.
3) Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to learn new concepts quickly.

Preferred Qualifications:
1) AR/VR/MR game or application development experience (Unity, Unreal, or other third-party engines).
2) Vision Pro development experience, especially with SwiftUI and RealityKit.
3) Technical social media presence, such as a technical blog or YouTube channel

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $136800 - $359720 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
