Junior HR Country Specialist
In the role of the Junior HR Country Specialist, Belgium you serve as an ally to Nokia and the Employee Services Community, being a trusted advisor to the Business Groups (BGs)/Functions, and an experience champion to our Nokia employees.

As part of our team, you will manage the corresponding inquiries of the people policies, procedures and programs and carry out responsibilities in the following areas:
- Providing professional services and acting as an expert of global and local people processes, policies, practices and tools ensuring that their application is in line with the local legislation.
- Full employee life cycle support, from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between.
- Supporting the new hire orientation and induction.
- Advising employees on local compensation and benefits processes.
- Working closely with our local partners, e.g. payroll and data management to ensure that operations in your functions are running smoothly.
- Serve as the Ambassador of Employee Experience, Nokia Culture and Values.
- Serve as the “glue” between BGs as one team in the country.
- Administrative project support: data analyses, benefit support, monitoring and ensuring data quality, creating documentation and knowledge management.
Qualifications
You have:
- You have a master’s degree and you recently graduated / will graduate soon;
- Your mother language is Dutch and you have strong communication skills both verbal and written in English;
- You have knowledge of Belgian labor legislation and HR concepts. Ideally you had a first expertise in HR via an internship.
- You have strong ability to adapt to change and be an active change management supporter;
- You enjoy working as part of a team and have an innate ability to manage and prioritize competing demands;
- You are accurate, have a service and customer experience minded attitude and the ability to work independently;
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discretely is essential;
- You are tech savvy. You have excellent computer/MS office skills (incl. Excel) and feel comfortable working with different (HR) software programs .
