Responsibilities for the Summer Intern – Production Support

• Operate packaging equipment in a safe and efficient manner

• Inspect, label, and package products in preparation for shipment

• Support production lines by delivering raw materials to the floor

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in work areas

• Relieve other team members during scheduled breaks

• Start up and operate designated packaging machinery, manual hand sealers, and stretch wrappers

• Perform in-process quality checks according to QA guidelines

• Maintain product quality standards throughout production

• Use lot code printers, including updating information and changing ink cartridges

• Ensure proper raw materials are in place at workstations
