Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Finance Manager to support our Emerging Businesses. Reporting to the Global Revenue Operations (GRO) Finance Director, this is a newly established position which will play a critical role in the planning and execution of the company's Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) pipeline. While the focus of this role will be on ensuring the successful execution of our corporate M&A strategy, additional strategic work supporting the GRO organization will be required. Starting as a team of one, you relish the opportunity of roll up your sleeves to build a strong foundation for our future.

You will be a highly strategic business partner. You will work collaboratively with other functions within and outside finance and follow their fiduciary duties as a member of the finance organization. Outstanding knowledge of financial planning, modeling, GTM Operations and strategic planning will be required to perform the role successfully.

This position is 100% remote, and can be based anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Support Chief Operating Office (COO) Finance and the greater COO organization on the planning, execution and integration of M&A
  • Develop a finance blueprint for standardizing M&A integration into COO Organization
  • Provide financial advice and support to the COO organization, which is responsible for top line execution of plans
  • Provide continued support and reporting until acquired company is integrated into existing structure
  • Collaborate with Industry teams, Corporate Development and COO leadership on M&A
  • Participate in continuous improvement of Autodesk's integration processes and standard methodologies
  • Support Sales Compensation team within GRO organization
  • Support GRO strategic initiatives as needed
  • Represent COO Finance to ensure communication around various initiatives is provided to key stakeholders

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Finance preferred; MBA a plus
  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience within finance, business operations, or business analysis background
  • Ability to adapt to a complex and changing environment
  • Knowledge and experience with key sales functions and sales methodologies
  • Experience with GTM operations and processes
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to communicate the appropriate level of detail, depending on audience
  • Experience working as part of a global team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines
  • Articulate and concise with strong communication and influencing skills
  • Prior experience in a technology/software/SaaS company or digital business support
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Salesforce, Anaplan, Power BI, SFDC and other financial systems preferred

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $119,500 and $193,270. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
