Cybersecurity Engineer

This role is fully onsite in Manassas VASalary: $45-50/hrDue to Government Contract, all viable candidates must be US citizens due to the requirement of obtaining a US Secret Security Clearance for this position
We are seeking a talented and experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our organization's systems, networks, and data against cyber threats. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard our assets and mitigate potential risks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in cybersecurity, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions to protect company systems and data from cyber threats.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate measures for mitigation.
• Design and implement security controls and protocols to safeguard networks, systems, and applications.
• Monitor security systems for signs of intrusion or unauthorized access and respond promptly to security incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.

Qualifications:

• Due to Government Contract, all viable candidates must be US citizens due to the requirement of obtaining a US Secret Security Clearance for this position
• 3+ years cybersecurity experience
