Shipping Quality Coordinator

Overview

Scope of Responsibilities: Works under minimal supervision.  Prepares final packages for shipping and oversees final QA.

 

Job Summary: Responsible for properly training all team members on shipping and QA procedures, ensuring that all packages are shipped accurately and on time, and assisting with all shipping-related questions by other team members.  Ensures that the team performs final QA on product appearance and verifies customer shipping information. 

Responsibilities

• Packages final prescription order for delivery to customer
• Inspects final contents of package and order contents
• Contacts customers on outgoing return shipments
• Assist with all shipping-related questions by other team members
• Responsible for assisting with the upkeep and cleanliness of each work station and the facility
• Maintain and keep reasonable production as determined by supervisor
• Maintain and improve efficiencies in all shipping procedures
• Responsible to maintain all quality assurances as they are given
• Assist in orienting and training new employees on all shipping and QA protocols
• Interface with all transport companies as scheduled
• Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Educational Requirements:

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field
• Pharmacy Technician Certification

 

Experience: 

• Preferred: 2 or more years previous experience in related position
