You will be joining a rapidly growing team of over 10 highly talented individuals who thrive in our fast-paced, 100% remote work environment. As we anticipate onboarding more than 50 people within the next 12 months, our team boasts international representation and a passion for building top-quality websites and expanding the business. 

About the Role:

WinTech, the cutting-edge company behind the Cerebrum brain training suite, is on the lookout for an experienced Web Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist. This role is pivotal in ensuring our product is error-free and operates seamlessly. With at least 3 years of experience under your belt, you will be instrumental in detecting, testing, and reporting bugs, working closely with our development team to uphold our commitment to quality.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborative Testing: Engage closely with the development team to understand product nuances and perform thorough testing. This involves setting up necessary tests to simulate user interactions and identify potential bugs.

• Bug Tracking and Reporting: Efficiently identify bugs, document them in detail, and report them to the development team. Use bug tracking tools to keep a clear record of issues and their status.

• Test Plan Execution: Execute detailed test plans that cover various use cases and scenarios to ensure comprehensive testing of all features and functionalities.

• Quality Metrics and Documentation: Monitor and document all testing phases and outcomes. Develop quality metrics to measure performance against set standards and expectations.

• Feedback Implementation and Verification: After bugs are addressed, conduct further tests to ensure that fixes are properly implemented and function as expected without introducing new issues.

About You:

• Experienced QA Professional: You bring a minimum of 3 years of experience in web quality assurance, with proven expertise in identifying, testing, and resolving bugs.

• Detail-Oriented: Your attention to detail is unmatched, making you proficient in detecting even the smallest inconsistencies and issues.

• Technically Proficient: Familiarity with testing tools and bug reporting platforms, alongside a basic understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Problem Solver: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex software environments and provide practical solutions.

• Team Player: Strong commitment to collaboration, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members from various departments to ensure product quality.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies.

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
