CAGE CASHIER

RESPONSIBILLITIES: 

Responsible for cashing customers out, giving correct change, and answering customer questions in a courteous and professional manner.

Responsible for accurately counting and recording assigned funds and making exchanges of funds throughout the shift.  

Keep cash drawer balanced and impressed.  

Verify and document personal identification information for check and cash advance transactions.

Complete CTRs, W2Gs, and MTLs.

Other duties as assigned.

EQUIPMENT/TECHNICAL

Use of personal computer, 10 key calculator, jet sorter, photocopier, facsimile machine, currency counter, cash advantage system, telephone, and check guarantee system.

WORK AREA

Casino environment exposed to bright lights, noise, changing temperatures, and smoke. May include a boat and/or floating barge , hotel and high rise atrium.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standing                      75%

Bending/Lifting           20% (up to 60 lbs.)

Carrying                        5%

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

A high school diploma or GED equivalent 

Six months cashier or banking experience preferred

Valid gaming license

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

Must be able to read and follow simple instructions and speak clearly.

Must be able to complete simple forms 

Must have basic mathematical skills.

Must be able to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.  

Good communication skills.
