Duties
- Undertake the processing, evaluation and management of complex reports and other operational information such as criminal records, violence orders and intelligence submissions.
- Supervise the processing of applications and requests for information to support the agency’s identity matching, quality assurance and release obligations relating to screening, court matters and investigations.
- Possess a high level of knowledge on the rules around disclosure including vetting and redaction, operational procedures, communication with police areas, and the management of related records and files.
- Apply specialist knowledge and skills around the practical implementation of complex legislated rules and policies through the research, analysis and disclosing, and provisioning of operational reports and crash reports.
- Apply a broad and detailed knowledge of relevant legislation, police business processes and administrative processes, technical knowledge and understanding of other agencies (DoJ) to achieve identified DPFEM business outcomes and priorities.
- Provide advice and guidance to team members on business functions and outcomes.
- Maintain client relationships and provide authoritative and timely advice to senior internal and external stakeholders and clients with regard to operational information.
- Maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive and personal information.

- Trafficking of narcotic substance;
- False alarm raising.
Desirable Requirements
Knowledge and expertise consistent with qualifications recognised at Certificate 3 and 4 or equivalent level.
