Are you a highly skilled mechanic ready to take your aviation career to next level? Join our team! As an A&P Mechanic IV, you will supervise maintenance crews and oversee major overhauls and inspections. You will ensure regulatory compliance and conduct training sessions for junior mechanics.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise maintenance teams and projects.

  • Oversee major overhauls and inspections.

  • Ensure all work meets regulatory and safety standards.

  • Conduct training and development sessions for junior mechanics.

  • Coordinate with other departments to streamline operations.

  • Develop and implement maintenance protocols.

  • Ensure thorough documentation and reporting of all maintenance activities.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.

  • Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification with no prior FAA violations.

  • Must pass, written, oral and practical assessments.

  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work locations.

  • Advanced experience in repairing, maintaining and/or troubleshooting aircraft airframes and engines.

  • Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.



Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Associate's degree in Aviation Maintenance or related field.

  • Leadership and management experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of specific aircraft models.

  • FAA repair station and/or Quality Assurance experience.

  • Able to travel on a regular basis and/or work different shifts including overtime and weekends.

  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (FAR/DFARS).

  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift.

  • Hand and finger dexterity to work with small mechanical components and tools.

  • Ability to work in a noisy environment with potential exposure to hazardous materials.

  • Ability to travel frequently to customer locations, sometimes on short notice.

  • Ability to work in a combination of office and field environments.

  • Ability to read detailed technical manuals, schematics, and computer screens.

  • Ability to inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems accurately.

  • Ability to hear and understand spoken communication in noisy environments, such as industrial sites or construction areas.

  • Ability to detect auditory signals from machinery or equipment, which may indicate issues.

  • Ability to navigate various work environments, including climbing ladders, crawling in confined spaces, and working at heights.

  • Ability to drive or operate a vehicle for frequent travel to customer locations.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, including repairs, installations, and maintenance.

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols.

  • Strong awareness of safety protocols and ability to adhere to safety guidelines in potentially hazardous environments.

  • Ability to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
