Administrative Assistant

Good News Garage launched in Burlington, Vermont in 1996 as one of the nation’s first car donation nonprofits providing affordable and reliable transportation options for people in need. Ready to Go Drivers enable our clients to access essential life activities, including work, job training and childcare.

We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to support Good News Garage. They will be performing a wide range of administrative and office activities that can include fielding incoming phone calls, greeting and assisting various people visiting the office including donors and potential donors, and tracking/managing various AP invoices. On occasion you may help support the Ready to Go dispatch team. This is an in office, client facing position.

Qualifications: 

• Associates Degree or higher required.
• Two years of administrative experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and positive driving record to assist with car donations.
• Must have polished and courteous telephone manner and excellent customer service skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs; ability to learn new software programs as needed.
• Ability to make decisions and work independently.
