Machine Operator Metals (2nd Shift)

2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday

4:00pm - 2:00am

7.5% shift differential pay 

Spectrum Industries, Inc. is looking for a new team member to operate a variety of multiple conventional, production machines and/ or equipment at specified machining centers to fabricate sheet metal or metal tubing products, parts, and components.

• Performs minor setup and adjustment functions on the machines
• Stops machines to remove finished work pieces, or to change tooling, setup, or work piece placement, according to required machining sequences
• Interprets blueprints, drawings, manuals, routing sheet specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements
• Measures dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures
• Records and submits accurate work time and job functions on daily time documents and routing sheets
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Six months to one year of related work experience
• OR equivalent combination of education and experience
