OnsiteJoin our dynamic team at Interiors Service & Support Installation & Integration as a Senior Mechanical Engineering professional. We're seeking an individual with exceptional technical expertise in commercial aircraft seating and interior products. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing comprehensive plans and budgets for small to mid-sized projects. Your critical analysis skills will drive cost-saving initiatives to enhance project profitability, while closely monitoring project performance metrics. You'll excel in identifying and resolving project challenges, offering strategic solutions to ensure successful project outcomes.

What YOU Will Do:
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for small to mid-size projects and suggests appropriate adjustments to ensure adherence to the established project plan, schedule, and budget.
• Record and document delay, changes in scope, and any other incidents that impact the scope of work or schedule to ensure smooth project operations.
• Pursue all cost saving opportunities to maximize project profitability.
• Perform critical path analysis and prepares and implements work-around plans to ensure the successful completion of projects.
• Conduct meetings, consolidates, and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s).
• Identify and reacts to project problems and recommends solutions, such as reallocating resources or changing contractual specifications.
• Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Oversee and coordinates the administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines.
• Liaise between program management, design, certification, project teams, and line management.
• Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
• Review project and budget status, manages schedules and prepares reports.
• Monitor and assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Direct the work of employees assigned on projects in technical manufacturing and administrative areas.
• Establish design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration, and test.
• Meet program schedules and budgets and maintains the integrated master schedules for project(s).
Qualifications you must have:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Qualifications we prefer:
- Experience with FAA regulations, specifically TSO, STC and PMA
- Experience with NX and Teamcenter software
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
