Internal Compensation Grade: G3
Location: This position can be filled as Hybrid in Columbus, OH and will require 3 days a week in the One Nationwide Plaza office
This role will have the unique opportunity to work closely with Marketing senior executives while developing the enterprise marketing strategy, managing a roadmap of strategic initiatives critical to strategic execution, and ensuring resources are deployed most effectively and generating desired outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
Development of the long-term Enterprise marketing strategy to meet business objectives and Marketing strategic goals
Partnering with Corporate Strategy and Marketing leadership to develop Board materials and other projects
Strategic management of Marketing and staff investment portfolio, in partnership with Finance, including analysis to identify actionable insights that drive strategic alignment and efficiency
Active management of a strategic roadmap of initiatives that drive meaningful advancement of key Marketing priorities
Execution of change management strategies that ensure effective implementation of Marketing strategies and adoption of new capabilities
Other strategic projects at the request of the CMO and Marketing Cabinet

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Assists in the development and execution of strategies and plans that ensure long term sustainable growth of the business. Synthesizes data and uses this understanding to support identification and innovation of business building solutions
Leads projects and processes within area of responsibility to deliver results with multiple target completion dates and shifting priorities.
Implements digital and traditional marketing tactics and media, including creative development process, planning, and execution.
Collaborates on and/or may lead creative development, and provides feedback on look and feel. Develops creative briefs.
Monitors emerging innovative trends in content, design and marketing tactics
Reviews and uses customer insights and analytics and tools to understand and forecast market, competitor and customer needs and behavior, define appropriate target audiences, evaluate sufficiency, and effectively get results with data-based decisions.
Ensures programs are on strategy and on schedule.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Manager/Director/AVP. This is an individual contributor role and may have an opportunity to manage a team based on organizational structure; may also lead virtual/project teams.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field preferred. Master’s degree is a plus.
