<h2 class="lumesse-section-header lumesse-section-header-0 jdesc-section-header"> </h2> <h2 class="lumesse-section-header lumesse-section-header-0 jdesc-section-header"><span style="color: rgb(0, 32, 96);">What The Role Is</span></h2> <table width="100%"> <tbody> <tr> <td width="100%"> <p>Under the direction of the Environmental Director, the Environmental Specialist supports environmental compliance and program implementation across the North Region. North Region States include but may not be limited to Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa and Oklahoma.</p> <p>This role partners closely with Facility Management and Operations to ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and company programs, including hazardous waste management, petroleum and chemical handling, spill prevention, and stormwater management.</p> <p>The position is responsible for supporting consistent environmental performance across multiple sites, ensuring cost-effective use of company resources, and maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements.</p> <p>Frequent travel across assigned states is required. This is a hybrid role with significant field presence. Work performed in office and field environments, including construction and operational sites.</p> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <h2 class="lumesse-section-header lumesse-section-header-1 jdesc-section-header"><span style="color: rgb(0, 32, 96);">What You'll Be Doing</span></h2> <ul> <li>Promote and reinforce environmental compliance and safety culture across all assigned facilities.</li> <li>Support facility compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.</li> <li>Prepare and assist with environmental reports and regulatory filings.</li> <li>Conduct site visits, audits, and compliance assessments across multiple states.</li> <li>Identify environmental risks and develop corrective actions.</li> <li>Implement environmental programs such as SPCC, SWPPP, and waste management programs.</li> <li>Maintain compliance with environmental permits.</li> <li>Support Environmental Compliance Management Systems (ECMS).</li> <li>Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies.</li> <li>Monitor regulatory changes and communicate impacts.</li> <li>Support spill response and incident reporting.</li> <li>Provide training to site personnel.</li> <li>Travel required (40-50%) across WA, OR, NV, UT, ID, WY, CO, NE, IA and OK.</li> </ul> <h2 class="lumesse-section-header lumesse-section-header-2 jdesc-section-header"><span styl
